Brand new 2004 325i. Anyone feel it would be beneficial to replace the OEM air filter with a high flow air filter from K&N?

Thanks.

Probably would help with throttle response a little. Much more noticable if you put an intake in there, lots of ppl go for the Gruppe M at rennsport.com for their bimmers. That is a very expensive intake, others use ECIS and stuff. You can always get a gruppe m look a like off ebay, no real point in spending an extra 500 on name recognition.

The K+N air filter is a nice little, inexpensive mod that will add some extra kick, like KillFox said. I installed one on my 328 and am happy with it. It's enough of a difference so you can actually notice the extra power, especially low end.
