Removing Door Panel - BMW Forum

I have a BMW 325 Xi year 2001. Today the window look like it fell off the track. I want to remove the door panel so i can access the window track, How do i disable the drivers side airbag and remove the door panel.

If your enigne is not running and the key not in the ignition it shouldn't be a problem?

yeah as long as the ignition is off your fine as far as taking the air bag out. just be sure not to turn the key on with the air bag disconnected, as this will set a high resistance fault and turn the air bag light on.

Is there a way to turn the airbag lamp off without dealer assistance.
