Hey guys,
I have a 330ci 5 MT. I am quite an enthusiast with a heavy right foot. I am probably always the fastest guy on the beltway. Now I am curious as to what the effect is on the car when I redline when trying to squeeze all the juice off each gear. I was looking at the rpm/hp curve and with the 330s, you get maximum power at about 5800rpm which is quite close to the redline- hence I redline quite a lot. What are the effects of this? I'll gladly appreciate some help here

Speeding tickets. Car manufacturers don't make that RPM zone red for the pretty color.
