rear seats 99 323i

I'm thinking of getting a 99 323i and I like everything about the car except one thing. I do a lot of skiing and I was looking at the optional equipment and besides the ski bag for teh back it said on edmunds that the split folding rear seats were an option in 99? Is that true? That seems a little weird doesnt it? Most cars today seem to come standard with that

yep, we had a 2000 323i without folding rear seats ($500 option i think). they dont even have a opening behind the fold down center armrest
