I plan on replacing the rear pads on a 2000 323Ci and I have found EXCELLENT write ups with pictures on this site. It seems pretty straightforward but I have yet to find any reference to the automatic parking brake adjustment. Does BMW use an automatic parking brake adj on the rear discs? And if so how do you back off on the adjuster to compensate for the new pads?
Has anyone done their rear pads recently?

i just did my brakes and the parking brakes are really loose, although they were a little loose before. i plan on having the dealership take care of it because i have to go in for a couple of other things anyway.
