Rattling 325ci door panel

I have an 02 325ci that has a rattle that seems like it is coming from the speaker grill or somewhere in the vicinity (on the lower speaker in door). BMW won't warranty it because I bought the car used & they are saying the door panel was modified- although I dont know why it would have been. How hard is it to take the door panel off myself & try & find this rattle. BMW did take the panel off, & of course they don't hear anything. Any help is GREATLY appreciated. Also, I have the HK system, but I don't think that would matter...

its not difficult to remove door panel. there are i think five torqe screws that hold door two behind the trim panel up on top and three on door handle one inside the rear view mirror cover pry the bottom off first there are clips that hold door on . also check your seat make sure handles and frame are on tight. I have taken out panel several times vapor barrior problems... also disconnect battery if you have a airbag in door just as a precaution so it does not decide to open.

Thanks a lot- I would have screwed this up w/o the directions & the dealer wasn't going to sit & try & diagnose my rattle for hours...
