Radio and climate control

Hey guys,
I am having a problem trying to take out the radio, climate control, and empty space below the climate control in my 2000 BMW 328CI. I am looking to rework the the dash and retro fit some led lights. Anybody know what the best way to get these items out without breaking plastic and fasteners. Any Ideas?

The climate control you just put a plastic trim tool (or if you don't have one use a flat blade screwdriver but be carefull!) on the left or right side and pop it out from each side, same goes for the oddment tray (empty space). To take the radio out you have to take the wood trim out that is above the glove box (once again a plastic trim tool or flat blade screwdriver) and pop that out, and then you can take the wood trim off from around the radio the same way. Then you will have access to two phillips head screws on the left and right (one on each side) for the radio, once you take those out you can slide the radio right out. Hope this helps
