Radio/ CD would not work

Hi,
I went thru the car wash drive-thru while my cd was playing. When the car came out, the the radio and CD weren't playing. The CD ejects and accepts CDs when i push the button but it doesn't play. The radio doesn't work either. The LCD only displays the time. Any idea regarding this problem? Thanks a lot!

It was rolled up, the interior wasn't wet in any way.

That's strange, sounds like something got wet and shorted out. Did you check your trunk for wetness? Maybe the factory amp got wet??

i checked it, nothing's wet. i, however, noticed they wiped the stereo with a damp cloth; could that be an issue? is it worth taking it to the dealership for diagnosis?

I'd say give it a day to see if it starts working again. If water is causing the problem it may start working again if it dries out. If your car is still under warranty then get the dealership to check it out.
