Question on Lease End and non-OEM tires

Anyone return a lease with non-OEM tires? I just found out that my two rear tires are below the required tread depth. Althought I'd never buy them, I can get some cheap BFGoodrich tires to replace them. My only concern is this statement from the Lease End guide:

"Five (5) serviceable, BMW recommended tires."

I figure as long as they're the required size, what does it matter. Thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

Just in case anyone else is in the same predicament... I called the BMW lease.

* same speed rating
* no more than 2 kinds of tires on the car
* same quality (admitted this was subjective)

on your lease return

Are your tires run-flats? I assume that even if a different brand a run-flat replacement has to be with a run-flat tire, correct?.
