Has anyone successfully installed the new LED taillights on a 2000+ E46? I have a 01 330ci and was interested in installing them. I talked to the parts guy at the dealership and he said that the wiring harness is different. That is why I was wondering if anyone has done this. I was thinking that I could cut off the old wiring harness and install the new one??? I know the ECU has to be re-programmed or the car will think it has a light out... Any comments or opinions??

i read on another post some guy replaced them with leds and they would not work he had problems. you probably will have one problem after another I would not do it thats my opinion... B)go to page 4 in this forum i believe there is a post about 330i conversion to leds
