Hey i have a 04 325ci w/ the harmon kardon system in it. I'm thinkin of puttin in one of my subs that i have left from my old car with an amp. its only a 10" rockford fosgate but it'll add some kick. but i'm afraid of it messing up the sound of the harmon kardon system like my system did to the bose system in my old maxima. will it have the same effect if i try this. or can i have it installed and not have any bad side effects on the purity of sound?
Adding a sub to an HK system will only improve it, even if it is a Rockfor Fosgate. What I did was to take a tap from the rear speaker outputs to feed my amp and hey presto instant bass.
I'll probably end up getting a sealed box for the 1 10" sub. that would be the best right. does any1 know where i can get a real cheap deal on a single 10" sub box?
