Hi folks,
Did somebody found the way hou to program BMW with a PC?
I would think somebody would find the way to do it.
I would rather pay for DIY kit, then be taken for the ride...

Cool! Just a bit expensive. Would be nice to find one used on EBay
While I'll admit the "Drive Right Car Chip" appears to be a useful monitoring tool in addition to its somewhat limited ability to reset engine codes, it will not allow you to program your car for turning features on/off or downloading performance enhancing code.
Still a neat tool but wish you could do everything the dealers do with a laptop.
This, 'Drive Right Car Chip', you stated it can be used for reseting engine codes. Does that mean it can reset the speed limiter on 'speed limited BMW's' such as the 330Ci??
if you were from VA, you cold bring your car to our shop and have a customized mount for your exact laptop and not some universal tray that fits all. Arm that mounts the surface would be hollow for the cords to run through and connect to the power source..
