Problems Starting- 2002 325i

About a month ago, my car wouldn't start in the morning. I jumped it, replaced the battery (the first after 114k miles) and was on my way.

This past weekend it wouldn't start again. Jumped it again. The funny thing is that I don't think it was the battery. The headlights, dash lights all were on. When I tried to turn the key, it made a clicking sound and then a buzzing sound when I turned the key off. Once the car was jumped, I was on my way.

But 3 days later the same thing happened again but this time I couldn't jump it- It wouldn't take. So I waited a day (luckily had another car I could use) and tried jumping it again the next morning. That time it worked.

Anyone have any suggestions?

We figured out that the battery is probably being drained and here's why.

I have been having problems with the AC lately. Basically the fan button is not regulating the fan. The AC will blow high even when it's on low or even when the AC is off. The AC also will blow when the car is completely off.

There's no rhyme or reason as to when though. Sometimes it's full force cold air blowing sometimes there's nothing blowing. So when the car sits in my garage at night it may be running the AC and thus draining the battery.

Any suggestions?

Try cleaning the battery and wires connectors. Oxydized connectors often cause bad battery charging and hard to jump start. There's a 5$ tool made to clean battery connectors at your local parts store.
