Problems with new 330i ZHP

I just bought a 2004 330i ZHP 2 weekends ago. The car has 500 miles on it now and on my way to work yesterday, I was rounding a corner doing about 40mph and I heard a pop, my engine light came on, and the car was puttering and spitting. Felt like I was running on less than 6 cylinders.

I took it to the dealer, they fixed it in about 2 hours and I was off again. Here is was the repair bill looks like:

Cause: Performed dis test fault for cylinder3 misfire replaced ignition coil and spark plug

I don't really know much about engines but I know when something isn't right. My question is this:
Is this something that should go wrong with a car with 500 miles on it? Is this a sign of things to come? Now, every vibration, noice, etc from the engine and I think something is wrong.

Any advice, help would be greatly appreciated.

Dont get toooo paranoid bout every little bump n rattle u hear. Ur car has 6 of those little on-plug coils so i guess it is possible for 1 of em to let go sumtime, even after jus 500 miles. Normally they're pretty good tho.

Just lucky u aint got a Volkswagen, they've been havin problems with their opc's for years n they're still changin em...

have a 2004 performance package wiht 1200 miles on havent had a problem on had a rock caught near my brakes thus makes a clanging sound took it back and thye fixed it in 30 minutes.
