| I just recieved my projector 46 lights with DDE in the mail today.(ordered from m3motorwerks.com) I went to a body shop specializing in BMWs and when the headlamps were installed I ran into a strange problem. When I turned on my lights like normal, the lights on the passenger side worked fine, but on the driver's side the high beam light was lit up. So I had the low beams on the left and a high beam on the right. He tried playing around with it and he just couldn't figure it out.
I then called the motorwerks tech line and he said it was simple plug and play installation and he had them wired wrong. When I turned on my brights all the lights lit up including the low beam xenon on the driver's side. I then went to BMW because I figured it was a simple deal. They tell me they can't touch aftermarket lights, so basically I'm screwed. I'm not sure if they were just hooked up wrong, or the wiring on one of the lamps is backwards. I would appreciate any help, and if anyone has ordered these lights from m3motorwerks and had similar problems. I'm about ready to say forget it and give me my $940 back. |
