Why are used (2002/2003) 330ci thousands more than a brand new 2004 on autotrader.com? I saw 2002s in the 40k area there.... and on BMWUSA.com I priced a new one in the high 30k area...someone shed some light please.
You got to price in any options added to the used car, they can add $thousands to the base price. I'd figure on at least 15% depreciation in first year for vehicle with average mileage. But if there is a waiting list for new cars, low mileage used ones may surpass the new price as impatient rich folks can't wait and can afford it.
