Hello all. Been a while since my last post, actually since my last problem. Need your guys help here. Any advice on power steering issues. Pulled to a stop sign earlier today, car made a funny grinding noise and then the steering got stiff and heavy to turn. This is a '00 323i, just had all the belts and pulleys replaced. Any thoughts anyone. No warning lights on in the car. Resevoir is full and clean. Thanks much,
Fluid level was down today. I'll fill it up and see if I notice any leaks when driving. You guys ever replace a PS pump. Easy fix? Probably not. Nothing is on these cars, but God I love them.
Yeah, you may be on the hunt for a leak. The lines themselves may be the problem. See if you can see seepage from cracks in the lines, my E30 had that happen.
