Please Help me ?

Hi I just got a 02 325 wagon i have a problem with the lift gate ? i can open from inside the car with the button under the dash but it will not open from the back i kept pressing the pad but nutting happins? can the pad be messed up? or is there a fuse somewhere for that button? I think i can be a bad microswitch pad cause it works when i hit the liftgate switch in the auto? please give me you advice...if it's the pad how do i install it ? please send me some pic's thanks.......Frank,

The trunk/boot button on my mom's VW is very stubborn, but works when pressed really hard; maybe that's worth a try?

Take the inside rear panel off and where you can get in give it a really good blast with WD40. You may also be able to give it a blast from the outside if you can get the nossle in behind the button.

thank fixed it today it i took the molding off where the button is at it was loose i hade to pop it back in place now it work for now ....thanks all
