HELLO EVERYONE NEED SOME HELP!!! about a week ago my 2003 325i 115k miles automatic started shimmying, slightly shaking during idle when started...SES and codes p0015 and p300-305 have come up. Once im driving she drives great but when i slow down or idle in park my rpms go from 500-600 up and down...car doesnt stall and takes off just fine. I know something is going but I am not sure where I should start. Cam shaft sensor? ICV? IVM? DISA? please help
Codes P0300 to P0305 are missfire codes. When was the last time your spark plugs were replaced? Check your coil packs as well. The rubber boots on the packs may be worn and need to be replaced (about $7 each).
P0015 is Camshaft Position Sensor: Exhaust Timing Over Retarded. You will need to replace this sensor. Make sure you use an OEM one as the aftermarket ones usually fail.
