| Pinout for CD Changer Harness?
Anybody got a pinout/wire ID chart for the CD Changer harness in the trunk? I've got an '05 330Ci, and want to try a slightly different kind of iPod integration--basically I'm using one of the USASPEC Aux kits and the Scosche BT iPod adapter... Conceptually, this should allow me to plug a BT transmitter into my iPod and install a BT receiver in the trunk plugged into the aux input. I need to power the BT receiver tho', and am assuming a pair of the CD changer leads will be PWR and GND. Any ideas which ones?
It will be interesting to see how the BT from the iPod plays with the BT for my phone/in car system.
In a slightly different vein, I'd like to hardwire my phone charger into the dash, as well as the charger for this iPod transmitter. Seems pretty low draw, so I was just going to tap into the cigarette lighter. Anyone see any problems with that? My tentative idea is just hiding a couple cigarette-style plugs behind the dash to clean things up. |
