Phone got stuck in rear floor a/c vents

So the short version of the story is that my RAZR fell on the floor, and when I hit the brakes, the phone slid into one of the floor vents, and it's lodged wayyy up inside where I can't really see it anymore. I've tried driving around aggressively, and driven in reverse and slammed on the brakes, all to try to get the phone to unlodge, but to no avail.

Has anyone else had this happen?

Does anyone know of any car audio how-tos? I think if I can get the doorsill and passenger seat out, I can lift the carpet and get to the vents from there, but I don't want to break anything. The car is a 2005 325ci.

take the seat out, turn the car off and then unplug the seat wiring, remove seat (carefully so not to scratch the b-pillar) with a long flathead screwdriver gentally lift up the door sill trim (it is clipped in with heavy clips that have a tendancy of breaking or the pannel breaks often) now you should be able to pull the carpet up. good luck with that
