I noticed when I first got the car that the passenger side mirror automatically lowers to point at the curb when the transmission is put into reverse (5-speed manual). Then randomly last week it stopped doing it? What gives? I don't really need this, but I just want to see if this is a setting, or if my car is already pooping out on me.
Ideas?

I just saw another post on this. Sorry guys, I feel like a schmuck. It looks like I just need to click the mirror selector to the passenger side. Hmm, let's go try it out....to be continued...

if anyone knows how to switch this on - my UK spec 330i Touring doesn't do this, and it'd be quite handy to help save the 17" alloys!
Roger
Mr. Roger, sir. May I suggest calling the BMW dealer with your VIN number? Also check your owners manual. (Although I admit, it's much more fun to have the Bimmerwerkz guys tell us how to do it!)
