My SES just came on today and im not sure what these codes mean...

P1423- Auxillary emissions control, manufacturer.
P1421

also is it dangerous to drive with these problems?

P1423- secondary air injection bank 1,flow too low.
P1421- secondary air injection valve circuit short to ground

It is not dangerous to drive ,it is about auxillary air pump on this vehicle.
It affects emmision, the car would not pass local "aircare programm"
Looks like there is a short to ground related to air pump.

I had similar problems awhile back. Secondary air flow was too low. Don't know what it was, but ignoring it made it go away! No, seriously, the error eventually disappeared on it's own.
