Thumbs up

I just bought a 316i E46 model 2005. (It's just like the one in my signature.)

My A/C is manual and not digital. Plus, I forgot to order a board computer. (Stupid me. ghead ) So there's no display of outside-temperature in my car but I'd like have one without forking out a fortune on a digital A/C or a board computer at the moment.

I wonder if there's another way of getting such a display in my car. I asked the BMW-Service and they said that there's no other solution BMW could offer, so my question is, is there 3rd party device and sensor that I can order or have installed?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Just go to your local auto parts store and pick something up. I know there are such small devices that you hook to ur dash or whatever. Maybe go to a department store?

It sounds like you need to talk the dealer into letting you trade your new bimmer back for one with a on board computer

Thanks KillFox,

Hehe, no, I wouldn't want to return my car just for that missing display.

I've a feeling that the gadgets you're talking about won't look nice on my dashboard but still I'll give it a try, maybe there's one that looks nice and chic after all. B)
