Oil Service Warning Plus Beeping

I have a bmw 330ci I just got it and I just got an oil change. Its has been about 2 weeks since then and I am again getting a service engine soon light and when I start my car it shows a oil service warning that blinks and now beeps. It says that its -4983 miles which I am assuming means that that is how long it has been since its had an oil change. Please correct me if im wrong and something might really be messed up with my car. I checked my oil and its fine and I even added some oil and the service engine soon light has gone away but the Oil Service and beeping when I start my car is still happening. Some friends told me that there just might be some button I have to push to reset this counter. Is this true? Where does the button live?

illsci. Where did you get the oil change done?
The beeping is caused by the service oil change
system. It means that you have gone almost
5000 miles past the req'd. 15000 miles sevice.
Go to the dealer or a certified BMW service
garage and have them reset the computer.

I got it done at Mr Tire. I found some FAQ links to resetting this myself. I am about to try it out and then if it doesnt work I guess I dont have a choice except to take it to a dealership, which sucks, the dealership in my area Annpolis MD IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE and their customer service SUCKS! Never ever go to Tate BMW in Annpolis or Shehey Nissan EVER escpecially if you have to deal with this atleast 39 year old much to feminan man named Jon with earings
