Hi all,
Recently I bought my first BMW (316 Compact ti)!javascript

I went for my 1rst service (oil change) at 5000Km and I put full-synthetic oil, and I told that I had to change oil every 5000km !

Other car companies in fully-synthetic oils suggest oil change every > 10.000Km

So can anyone tell me which solution is the best ?

Hi, l drive the 328i tour and a best at that. I only get my car serviced every 15000 miles. Multiply that by 1.0693 and you will get KM's. Shocker or what?

I change mine every 7k miles, although BMW says 15k is fine. From doing alot of reading about this I have gathered that 5k is too soon but 15k is too long. At least for my car.
