Oil Change

Hello all.

I only live about 2 miles from work so needless to say I don't drive very far or put many miles on my car. At the rate i'm going, I won't need another oil change for a year or two. Can I go that long without changing the oil. Right now, my car says I have about 9,000 till I'm due for service.

just trust the computer. It will take you rdriving into consideration and let you know. In six months is might only say 3k miles.

If you are concerned you can have the oil changed just do not reset the computer. Some members are doing this just because they do not believe the 15K mile oil change.

BMW recommends 15,000 miles or once a year on the oil service.
