obc PLEASE HELP!!!

HI GUY"S
i have a mk111 sat/nav. and the screen is blank.the unit in the booth i presume is working cos the red light is on.All the buttons on the dash unit are functional.The screen lights up when ign. is turned on but the screen is blank

If you shine a torch on the screen can you see any images ?

That will mean if I remember correctly its the module in the boot, as if you shine a torch and there are images its the back light gone which means another monitor, as you have no images at all its the module.

THANX A MILLION MARTI5 I WILL GET THE MODULE CHECKED AND REALLY HOPE IT CAN BE REPAIRED.but suppos. it is can it be repaired?

Im not really sure to be honest, mine went and I got one from Ebay £80 sterling.But before you go down that route just check all the connections to the module.
