Is this "Normal" for BMW?

I have my first BMW. A 2002 320i 2.8l
When warming up the car in the morning, it blows cool until I start driving.
Is this normal for a BMW or is something malfunctoning?
Thanks for reading my post.

Sounds ok, mine takes a while to deliver warm air too LOL... Just check the coolant levels and maybe make sure there are no air locks in the system !!

Remeber to raise the front-end to purge air from the heater matrix etc while its running (let it warm up)...

Always a good tip no matter what car !!
