Hey all.
As it says I'm new to the BMW scene. I'm looking into purchasing a 330ci and was wondering if I could get a little help/info about the problems they may have with boost. I'm from Toronto and work in a performance shop here. We do a lot of high performance with rotaries, DSM's and other mainly Japanese imports.
I guess my biggest question is this. What is the 330ci powerplant capable of. How much boost can these engines hold?
I have been searching the net for turbo/supercharger kits for the car and I have only found 2 both of which are good for about 270WHP which is rather weak.
I don't mind doing internals and headwork but I don't know where to start my search for adequate parts.
Thats one of the kits I already looked at. The car dynoed at a measly 277whp.
I guess I'll re-word my original question.
Is it possible and how do I get around 350WHP from a 330ci. Obviously I'll be doing internals but what is my max achievable with supercharger and bolts-ons. Also what is stock compression on those cars?
