Noob to the forum - 04 325i lease advice

Greetings all. I came across this forum last week and find it very informative. I was wondering if you experts could help out a BMW newbie. I am about to go the dealer to lease an 04 325i and wanted to know what a good selling price would be. I want my payments to be in the $340 range and would like to know what my down payment should be to reach that monthly payment. I am not too familiar with leasing. I live in Kalifornia, San Francisco/East Bay. I know someone at Weatherford BMW (Berkeley) but I know he will try to screw me somewhere in the deal

I would like a 325i with the following:

Titanium Silver/Black Leather
Premium Package
Harmon Kardon
Heated Seats (not the sport)
StepTronic
Navigation

I have a 2003 VW Passat GLX with all the bells in whistles which I may trade (but I doubt it).

Any kind of high-level ideas/opinions would be greatly appreciated. I may take the plunge either tomorrow or this weekend.

ncheck out the BMW website www.bmwusa.com for lease specials on this car. A few months ago they ran a 24 month deal with 3.5k down for $299/mth. Now it's up to 39 months. If you are curious about the European Delivery program, email me: john@inmons.com

Thanks for the tip. I picked up my new 325i today. It has the premium/sport packages, xenon, navigation, steptronic, etc (grey silver/black leather) . After some negotiating, I got the car for 35,800. Not sure how good of a deal that is, but nevertheless, I am very pleased so far!

just curious.....whats your monthly payment and how much did you put down? im interested in leasing a similar vehicle. thanx
