Non Start / Cold Start

HELP!!

I am wondering if anyone has had this problem with their BMW, if so can anyone help?

For the last few months my 320d sport (2004 model) has given me so many problems. The car fails to start in the morning especially on cold days. It takes many tries before the engine kicks in, and on some days it will start straight away. I have taken the car into BMW many times and they have changed the pressure pump and they say that have put new injectors as the old ones were dirty! I don't know if this case or not!! However the problem is there. On the last visit to the BMW they couldn't get the car to fault so I just took it back.

I have also done observations and there a specific noise that I hear just before the car does start, it’s like a whirring noise which goes to the back of the car and the car will start. On other attempts that noise will not be there and the car fails to start.

Please help!
