Question No Squirt! Windshield Washer

All, I've searched the E46 forum for posts dealing with faulty windshield washers and not found the info I need. My wife wrecked the 04 E46 convertible awhile back. It's been repaired by Herb's in Dallas, but, since the accident (she rear-ended a truck), the washers haven't worked.

I've checked the fuses (okay) and taken a look under the hood. Seems there are two sensors / pumps which connect to the fluid reservoir. I'm assuming the one further up the side is the low fluid sensor and the one close to the bottom is the pump.

If you could verify, I'd appreciate it. And some DIY tips on checking the pump, replacing it, and other things that could have been damaged would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

If you're into DIY projects I would strongly recommend the Bentley service manual. I had a similar problem with my wife's BMW. It turned out to be a defective pump. It's a fifteen minute job. Good luck!!
