for the same price, which is the better deal?
2002 330ci with 14K miles for $27,000 or a 2003,2004 330ci with roughly 30K miles for the same price?

2002 BMW 330 Coupe 5-Speed, 14K miles, Silver/Black, Sport Package, Leather, Xenon, Harmon Kardon, Pristine Condition.
$27,000 (good deal?) seems to be hardly driven

They are the same in look/features, I'd go with the less milage one.

Personally, I would go with the 04, because 30k still isn't that bad and the face-lifted 04's look a lot better in my opinion. Plus 04's have some other things that are good improvements over the 02's... albeit nothing really major that I'm aware of.

When it comes to trade it in, you'll be glad you went with the newer model. If you are buying it at the dealer, they should throw in some extra warranty which is also a good deal.

At trade in time, the year of the car is more important than the mileage, assuming the car is relatively clean.

there were also some very important adjustments to the steering. they vary between all e46, and i do not remeber excatly.

however, 04 is the best in that regard, that i knwo for sure. i cannot really comment on the prices, all seem reasonable.
