hey guys! new to this forum but not to bimmers. i'm about to get my second e46. not sure if i'm going to get a coupe or sedan, but i DO know that i'm looking to put a set of 18's on it. i'd like to go as wide as possible in terms of tires and rims (without mods!) which will probably mean staggering.. which is fine by me. my last e46 had a set of 235/35/19's and i really didn't like the way they looked. they didn't really fill the wheel wells nicely; the rims were way too large for a non-m car.... for my taste. they looked like wagon wheels with rubber-band around 'em. and the 235 width really seemed kinda skinny, especially in the rear. so i don't want to make that mistake twice. therefore i'm going an inch smaller in diameter and want to go as wide as possible. i'd love to go to 40 profile if i could, but i don't really want to sacrifice width. anyway... i'd like to see all the options first, so let me have 'em guys! oh, also let me know what rim width you would use with your tire selection, whether it be 8" or 9". thanks in advance!
