New member saying hi. - BMW Forum

Hey guys,

Just registered and thought I would say whats up from SE Florida. This is my first time registering to a car forum. I am a boat nut and spend a lot of time on the boating forums, hence my screenname. Scarab is a type of go-fast boat for you non boating guys. I use the same name on every forum.

I just got my first BMW.....ok the truth is my wife just got my first BMW.

I'm a pick up truck guy (need it to move boats around) but we get a new car every few years for the wife to drive to and from work.

We have had two VW Jettas and two Acura TLs, the last was a 2006 that we just traded for the BMW.

The car we chose was a 328i w/ Sport Package. Platnum Bronze with tan interior. The car is loaded to the balls with nearly every option. It was a demo with 5K miles and the deal was to sweet to pass up.

Not really any plans, just tinting the windows Friday. I'm not into modding cars anymore, heavy into boats instead.

The car has nice factory rims and tires. The tires are wide, almost as wide as the 20s on my truck. The sound system is killer for a factory system. Whats left to do to a brand new car?

I hear that. Those cars are pretty good to go right out of the box.
