hey yall i just got a 99 323i about a month ago. luv the car, but have a couple questions about my car.
-When I drive my car slow (from 15-20 mph), you could feel it shaking from the back of the car. Especially when some one is sitting in the back seat. Even when i hit my brakes it'll shake in the back, what could be my problem? p.s. I have no warranty for my car.
-I just changed the motor on 1 of my car windows, but it still makes a nasty noise. What could be the problem?
-Has anyone ever heard of an E46 carzone bodykit ? ( I don't believe there sold in the U.S.) if so, how do I get my hands on it?
-My car is a sedan, I would like to put an M3 front bumper on my car car. Will it fit right even though my car is a four-door ?
-How does does the H&R cup kit handle, does it still give it a smooth ride? AND PRICE?
1) not sure on the shaking. only thing i can think of is how are the tires? maybe our tech can help you here.
2) your window regulator may be going bad.
3) i've heard of the carzone bodykit, but have never seen it.
4) there is a M-Aerodynamic Retrofit kit available for the sedans. it is similar to the bumper you seen on the M's, but not exact twin. if you want to get the true M bumper, in order to make it fit, you will need to do some modifications to your front, especially your fenders. both of these kits are available through the dealers.
5) i've heard good things about the H&R cupkits. i haven't experienced them yet. we have a couple of members here with the cupkits. hopefully, they will be able to help you.
Hey AZ Do you think I could fit a M3 Front bumper on my car?
The guy at the dealership said that a 2000 and a 2001 ci have "Some" diffrences and it would be harder to put on a 2000 Ci model. Do you know if that's true cause I thought the E36 Frame would still be the same.

The bmw Dealerships sell their bumpers at this price.
$39.99 For BumperGrid
$249.99 ///M3 Bumper (E46)
Now the M3 Bumper does already come primed I believe when they sell it to you, but if you want to get it painted it's going to cost you
$175.99 for a paintjob. These prices do not include the installation, you're gonna have to find a good proformance body shop type deal. I'm infact trying to do this to my car but I only found 1 and the guy was a complete idiot. So i'll have to keep looking.
thanx alot guys, youve been good help, i just changed the window regulator on my car.
I bought the car used, so the idiot b4 me that had the car never changed the oil, so I'm going have to change my oil again probably next week.
My tires r pretty bad shape, I'm just saving sum $$ up so I could get sum rims.
If your tires are in bad shape you may want to have them changed. My car had a wobble in the back and just let it go even though my tires were bad, but when I changed my tires there was a huge chunk ripped out on the inside which creates a safety problem. So ya might want to look into that for your own safety.
