New Member - Help Needed!

Hi! New guy here to the forum. AWESOME site. I do have a problem and am hoping someone here can help me out. I think I got some bad gas recently and have had problems since that fill up. After putting the "bad" gas in the car, about 50 miles later the car began to jump and hesitate. Pulled over and looked for anything obvious under the hood, loose hoses etc, found nothing and continued on. Finished my return trip to NC from FL. Check Engine Light is now on. P0305 Cylinder misfire. Yesterday the car would idle wildly up to 1000 RPM and then stall. When I put it in gear and press the gas it sputters and barely gets down the road.

Trying not to chase the fix with parts. Anyone had this same problem?

Any input and help is GREATLY appreciated.

We had a problem in the UK last year when a supermarket petrol station had contaminated fuel with silicone in it, only way to do it is drain the fuel out replace the filter and the other problem is if the injectors are gummed up with whatever the contaminant is, then they have to come out and be cleaned, over here the supermarket ended up paying for peoples cars to be thing to do is draw some fuel off and get it analysed then put a claim in to the supplying company or your going to be out of pocket with the repair bill.

Or drain the tank, new filter and when you put new fuel in add some injector cleaner....

I stepped in a plate of Pasta the other day - now I have to worry about my Carbonara footprint!
