| We had a problem in the UK last year when a supermarket petrol station had contaminated fuel with silicone in it, only way to do it is drain the fuel out replace the filter and the other problem is if the injectors are gummed up with whatever the contaminant is, then they have to come out and be cleaned, over here the supermarket ended up paying for peoples cars to be sorted.....best thing to do is draw some fuel off and get it analysed then put a claim in to the supplying company or your going to be out of pocket with the repair bill.
Or drain the tank, new filter and when you put new fuel in add some injector cleaner....
