I am new to this site and i got a brand new BMW 320 2009 (Face lift), the car is working fine but i have a very stange bang sound comes out from the speakers when i open the windows or the sunroof while i am listening to the Mp3 or IPod, and when i close the window everything is ok.
I heard this in another forum and also my buddy had it happen to him, Sometimes you get alternator hum from ur MP3 and IPOD connections, why you roll down the windows you are using electricity and thus makes the hum or bang in your case evident. Pull your IPOD off its jack, turn up the volume and see if you still get it. Hope this helps.
