New Error Codes

Errors 38, E3 and E4 on chart 15 (according to the BavAuto code reader). "Ignition feedback - shunt resistor" and "Oxygen sensor adaptation limit" on all cylinders. Previously, I had an error pertaining to the secondary air system flow being too low, which I attributed to a secondary air pump and valve. I did not replace those parts, since they seemed to have no effect on performance.

Has anyone else encountered these errors and know how to solve them?

Oxygen sensor adaptation limits are shown when the engine is running to lean or rich for the oxygen sensor to compensate the fault normally says which you need to know this before you can start testing. Never heard of a shunt fault but would guess it’s an over-voltage these are common and ignored unless you have a electrical fault

Error codes have now disappeared after a few drives. The electrical error might have been a fluke, particularly if it was something with the ignition system... and the car's already running...

If the O2 sensor errors occur again, I would wonder if it didn't have something to do with the secondary air flow pump, an error I had previously.
