New car smell making you sick?

I thought it was the ride, but maybe it is the new car small that is making me nauseous after driving? If so, how long until the new car smell dissipates to where any effect is negligible?

That New-Car Smell

Now have concerns not only for nausea but possible cancer risk?

on the New vehicles that I have owned it generally takes about three months to it goes. But then again if you're a particularly smelly individual it may go a lot quicker. Most people seem to like it. Personally I am not too keen on it. Try eating fast food in the car as often as you can, that should get it stinking of something other than plastic.

Good luck
