NEW 328i 2009, questions..?

Hello guys, I'm new here and I just traded my 09 Lexus IS250 for a 09 BMW 328i. I really dont know much about BMW but i'm looking forward on doing a few mods.

To get things started my car brings the regualr halogen angel eyes. how I can convert those to hids? I really dont care much for porjectors since I would hate to change the headlamp since its brand new. I would like the angel eyes to be blue or white instead of that oem yellow. Can that be done by just changing the haolgen bulb?

Thanks for your help.

The angel eyes are easy to change with a kit from jlevisw.com or umnitza.com.

You should not put in xenon bulbs without having projectors. It is obnoxious to other drivers and can constitute a road hazard.

I understand about the bothersoom to the other drives if I just convert to hid without projectors but I havent seen a replacement projector for the new 09 headlamps.

Also, what to do with the fogs?

Fogs should stay halogen--the yellowish light of halogen is more useful in fog.

Presumably you could get OEM projectors for your car--and reprogram your LCM to recognize the xenons. Probably won't be cheap, though.
