| new 318 e46 playing up engine check light on egr valve leaking
hello all
i have had my bmw 318 i e46 one day and have a problem
the engine check light has come on
i have looked in engine bay and found a split hose to wot i think is the fuel presure regulator
also a couple of the rivets on egr valve had snaped and it was leaking air badly
i have repaired both these problems
and car is driving fine
but the engine check light is still on
will it need too be pluged in too turn light off
would the leaking egr valve have caused the light too go on
