Need a little help... - BMW Forum

In the cold mornings when I first start down the high way I get a shake in the steering wheel, and the entire car. This only happens at speeds over 30 mph. After about 5 mins of driving or 10 it goes away. Any ideas on what this is. On warmer days or after i've been driving it does not happen..

Since it seems to be associated with temperature, I'd wonder if it's a tire tread issue.

I thought that too at first. I checked all pressure and had a buddy look over the tires. Currently I do not have a jack low enough to remove tire. Stock one is gone from the car so i have to wait to pick one up this weekend. When I do so I will remove the tires. I assume the front is where its coming from due to the steering wheel movement.
