need brakes! any store suggestions?

i don't want to buy my brakes from the dealership, but still want a good quality brake and rotor. does anyone know where i could buy a good set. i replaced my factory brakes with ones from auto zone. those didn't last long at all. i need to know if i have other alternatives than going to the dealership. ohh ya i own a 03 325i sedan!

I went with the Akebono EURO Ceramic Brake Pad Sets w/Shims for about $65.00 @ the bimmerzone.com. They have the best prices & very good service, delivery is fast.......I've gotten everything from a waterpump, sparkplugs, brake pads, o2 sensors, etc with no complaints.....

Also about the ceramic pads, extremely low dust., no squeal, & great quality pads......
johnny,
