nav/radio monitor failure - BMW Forum

hey guys i have a 02 325i. Its equip with a factory navi. recently i replace the final stage unit because my blower was staying on after the ignition was turn off witch was draining my battery. after replacing unit i encounter another problem, my radio/navi monitor is now dead. radio works fine but no image on the monitor. there is a dim blue screen with the ignition open but no image. read about a module for the Navi. any help on the location of this module would help. and can this be my problem.

I read about someone else having this same issue and I believe they ended up having to have the screen replaced. Are all the buttons still working?

Yes everything else work, music plays and all.

Oh boy.....technology. Can you imagine the problems today's owners of BMWs will have 10 years from now when all the gadgets start to fail. Scary.
