I am in the market for a new BMW 330i+ZHP. Before I go down to the dealer I would like to find out what my trade in (03 VW Jetta GLS 1.8T ) is work. The Nada guide has a trade-in value if $16,700.00 and KBB has a trade in value of $13,500.00. Obviously the $16,700.00 trade-in value is preferable but what will the BMW dealer use to determine the trade-in value.

Most dealers I have dealt with use the NADA book value for the car. It seems to be very accurate because the listing can be narrowed down by every spec on the car so you get credit for sport packages etc. I went from a Jetta to a 323ci and I fu#*ing love it! Good choice, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
