Hiker is an unknown quantity at this point
Anyone have any experience with the Mylar Film protection they put on hoods & bumpers? Does it last? Any problems?

how old is the product? i know that 3m has improved there film and it works well , where as the older version had a tendency to fade and yellow.

Thanks for the info. The 3M clear film would be new. Does $650 on a 325xi sound about right for the hood, bumper, mirror fronts, etc. - that's what I was quoted.

well.. yea . You can actually buy the stuff for about half that... but it takes some skill to apply it on perfectly.

i know a bunch of vinyl shops that wont even do it...theyre AFRAID!!! So go to a pro.
