Just purchased a 2001 325CI, my first BMW. The last owner took really good care of it, as both the outside and it's red leather are in almost perfect condition. Only 120K miles. Very excited.
Thank you, photos are forthcoming. As I said, this thing has some of the most awesome red leather, in near perfect shape. What is the recommended stuff to keep it looking and feeling fantastic? It does not look or feel like leatherette, but the links within the, "is it leather", thread did not load. Enjoy your day.
Today I, "discovered" how to adjust the seats. Yeah I know. For some reason I was, as with many other BMW design features, really impressed with the way the seats worked. The whole thing seemed so elegant or something. Might still be a bit starstruck.
The past couple of days I've just been enjoying flying around corners, yes, breaking the speedlimit(seems everybody is doing it), and generally having some fun. Pretty sure it is a good thing I'm not rockin an M3 or I'd be in trouble. So glad it's a 5 spd, a manual would be kinda boring.
