welcome aboard eddie!! B)

what year is your car? i thought all e46's came with multifunctional steering wheel. does your steering wheel have a triangle airbag or round? the m3 round airbag steering wheel will look awesome.

i cant be for sure but im feeling that you can put multifunction steering wheels on non MF steering wheels. to my guess, e46s are prewired to accept the multifunction steering wheels. i could be wrong, thats my guess.

I have an MF, the triangle version.
Is it easy enough to get the newer, round version fitted?

the dealer shows a retrofit kit for such a job, but as you know it costs bucks!!! The junkyard may be a cheaper bet, u'd have 2 get the steering wheel, and the wiring harness.

very easy. its just plug and play. i ditched my triangle wheel to the E46 ///M3 round wheel.

its the matter of fact of purchasing the items (airbag + wheel) which is expensive
